I am so happy to be celebrating my 3rd Blogiversary! So, of course I had to have a giveaway.

Thank you to everyone who has followed my blog and read my blog posts over the years. I took a look back at some of my earliest blog posts, and there is TONS of growth. One of my big goals for myself as I enter into another year of blogging is to really improve by blog by showcasing more of what I do in my classroom. One of the things that will help me is getting a better camera for sure. Speaking of goals, what are your goals for the upcoming school year? You can share your teaching goals, blogging goals, or personal goals. Share your thoughts in the comments section below (It will also earn you one entry in the giveaway!)

Now, for the giveaway! First, read the contest rules here. Next, let me tell you a little about it. There are two different giveaways. The first set of items are hard teacher goods. The second set of items are digital teacher goods. Feel free to enter both! Now, scroll down to view the prizes, read about the awesome people who have donated items, and ENTER!

  1. Congratulations on reaching such a wonderful milestone! One of my teaching goals this year is to provide more rigor into my instruction and allow my students to have more of a voice in helping to design our units of learning so that they can feel like they are truly taking ownership of their learning. I also want to help all of my students have a love for learning overall! A blogging goal of mine is to to simply blog more! I blog here and there, but would love to become more consistent this year!! Thanks for hosting such a wonderful giveaway! I always love stopping by your blog! :-)

    1. Thanks so much Lynda! Thank you for sharing your goals. I definitely agree with them, especially adding rigor. That is something I'd really like to improve.

  2. One of my goals is to build genuine relationships with each student. My previous year I did big push on just academic and my students saw on average 2 or more years of growth. It was great to see that growth as a first year teacher however I think building relationships is just as important and I failed to do that last year. This year I want to continue to help students see 2 or more years of growth in reading and math but in addition build genuine relationships which all of them.

    1. You are very correct, building relationships with your students is very important but I know that we, as teachers, feel so much pressure to get our students to perform well academically. It's awesome that your students were able to grow so much! Kudos to you!

  3. My goal this year is to not procrastinate on things and do more follow up with the kids and parents. I feel like I let them get away with too much at times ;) But at the same time, build a bond with ALL kids. I had special ones, but feel like I left some out :/

  4. My goal is to spend a little less time at school (be gone by 3:30). At least a few days a week. And not have to make up for it on the other days. Wish me luck!

  9. My goals for the 2014-2015 school year is to have all of my 1st graders meet their AR Goal. Also, I want to learn to work with new teammates even if it may be challenging, and to have better confidence in the classroom when it comes to decision making. I hope to make my second school year teaching a successful and great year. For a goal outside of the classroom, I would like to create a small business that would keep me busy during the summer and school holidays. Whether it be photography, blogging, etsy, or crafts, I hope to accomplish all of my goals this year. The giveaway has some great prizes that I would love to win. Congrats on your 3rd anniversary!

  15. Found your blog from someone else posting about your giveaway, AND I'M SO GLAD! Congrats on your anniversary:) One of my biggest goals this year is mostly personal, but will affect my professional life, as well. I want to start eating healthier and being physically active EVERY DAY! I have allowed the weight to add on during my 4 years in the classroom...and it shows! It's time to become a healthier me, a better role model for my sons & students, and leader to my colleagues in all aspects...not just in teaching!

  22. Congratulations and Thanks for a great Giveaway. I run a small tutoring business, and I have been off all summer with cancer and radiation treatments.
